KRIS BROWN
along with his wife, Amy, founded Kris Brown’s Kick Club in 2003 to benefit Texas Children’s Charity Care Program, which provides financial relief to families facing overwhelming medical expenses.   For each point Kris scores as kicker for the Houston Texans, the Browns and six corporate sponsors donate $250.00 each.   Since its inception, Texas Children’s has received $700,000.   Kris was inspired to create the program from an experience in his own family when his sister was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at age 11.   She beat the odds and has been in remission for more than 15 years.   His newest initiative, Kris Brown’s Kick Club Youth Program, teaches leadership skills to Houston-area high school students.
