ROBERT DEL GRANDE
Robert del Grande moved to Houston to court his wife, Mimi. He began experimenting in the kitchen of Candice and Lonnie Schiller – the kitchen that became the famous Café Annie. Robert continues to make magic in his new kitchen, named for him – RDG. While Robert has become one of the most famous chefs in the country, he is forever grateful to the city that helped earn his fame. There is hardly a charity in the city that has not benefited from Robert and Mimi’s generosity, but a few closest to their hearts include DaCamera of Houston, the End Hunger Network, Meals on Wheels, Nature Conservancy, SOS (Share our Strength), American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.
