TENA FAUST
Tena’s love of animals started when she was a young girl growing up in rural Northern Minnesota. That love never faded and her dedication to animal protection has grown through the years. On many occasions, she has trapped animals to have them spayed, neutered and inoculated; she has chaired fund-raising events that benefit animals; and she has initiated a program whereby animals are taken to visit with the elderly in nursing homes. In 2007, Tena, along with her twin sister, Tama Lundquist, and Tim Moloney started the Highland Village adoption center. Adoptions take place each weekend and, to date, over 1000 animals have found loving homes.
