Over 350 underprivileged children from area families and agencies will gather on Saturday, March 23rd 2013, at Northland Christian School, 4363 Sylvanfield Drive (77014), 1 – 4 p.m.

Fun events scheduled for the day include a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny. There will also be games and lots of prizes as well as individual Easter Baskets, and last but not least an Easter egg hunt.

Food to be generously provided by Wendy’s Old Fashion Hamburgers, and drinks donated by Pepsi and Oak Farms Dairy.  Other donations by Randalls, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo – Speakers’ Committee Rodeo Clowns and Northland Christian School.

Houston Children’s Charity, whose only goal is “to be there when others are not,” helps support over 60 Houston area child-related agencies throughout the year, in addition to special events such as this.  “Our kids are everybody’s kids” – we are child-related, not cause-related – we are able to serve children from multiple agencies and families at a time when it is needed the most.” says HCC Executive Director, Laura S. Ward.
