Dr. Raza Pasha is an Ear, Nose, and Throat-Head and Neck Surgeon who has the unique privilege to not only be board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology but also hold specialty certification in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Pasha has a special interest in the management of snoring, sleep apnea, allergy, and sinus related disorders. As founder of the Pasha Snoring & Sinus Center, Dr. Pasha has designed a comprehensive program that utilizes the latest methods with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures. He has helped pioneer several in-office techniques including Balloon Sinuplasty™ for recurrent sinusitis and the Pillar Procedure™ for snorers.

Coined as Houston’s “Snoring Doctor,” Dr. Pasha emphasizes the cause of one’s snoring or sleep apnea before prescribing a treatment plan. Having performed over 1,500 procedures for sleep apnea and nasal disorders, Dr. Pasha has helped many patients return back to their bed partners or rid their dependence on their CPAP machine.

Dr. Pasha’s all-inclusive program for sinus and allergy sufferers focuses on long-term solutions. His management strategies include in-office procedures and allergy testing to more advanced sinus and nasal surgical techniques, including revisions.

Dr. Pasha has been published in several medical journals. He has also completed research in several institutions including The Cleveland Clinic, Texas Medical Center, Detroit Medical Center, and Ohio State University. One of Dr. Pasha’s more notable achievements was his sole authorship of a review book for residents in training in his field.   The book, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Clinical Reference Guide, is now in its third edition.

Currently, Dr. Pasha is a primary investigator in his own IRB approved research for the treatment of rhinogenic and migraine headaches. He also lectures across the country at various academic institutions, seminars, and conferences on the latest surgical techniques for sleep apnea and In-Office Balloon Sinuplasty.

Dr. Pasha is an active patient advocate. He co-founded a conglomerate of medical facilities, Altus Health Management Systems, and is active with the Harris County Medical Association. He currently chairs the Health Plan Liaison Committee that meets face to face with medical directors of insurance companies to discuss patient needs. He is also frequently featured in the press including The Learning Channel (TLC), KHOU Channel 11, KPRC Channel 2, About.com, and has a monthly-featured segment on Great Day Houston.

Aside from taking care of patients, Dr. Pasha also takes pleasure in gigs as a keyboardist for a local doc-vested rock band and the occasional leisure dive in exotic worldly hot spots. When interviewed, Dr. Pasha jokingly debates the practicality of cashing out and settling in as the board shorts sporting, Affliction t-shirt donning, village doc in Costa Rica.
