Gregory L. Eads, MD, FACOG
The Women’s Centre for Well Being
Dr. Eads has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for 28 years. He offers service for all aspects of female care including routine care, prenatal care, bioequivalent hormone therapy and treatment of endometriosis.
He has specialized training and a love for minimally invasive surgery and urogynecological care. “With today’s robotic technology it is sad that women are still having large incisions for hysterectomies, ovarian surgery, myomectomies (removal of fibroids) and vaginal suspension,” he laments. “With the da Vinci robot, all of my surgeries are now out patient (same day or over one night). My patients are usually off pain medication and driving in 48 hours and return to work as early as five days, even with hysterectomies!” The da Vinci gives me a 3D view and the instruments are “tiny” for better “accuracy and minimal blood loss.”
Dr. Eads is one of only 25 Epicenter Master Proctors in the country and teaches robotic surgery nationally. He teaches Advanced Robotic Courses and lectures internationally.
He also performs urinary incontinence surgery including the latest meshes, and “vaginal rejuvenation” surgery after childbearing. All of which are out patient meaning minimal time away from work and activities.
