Dr. Fiore is double board certified in General Surgery and Surgery of the Hand. His passion and respect for the subspecialty of hand surgery began while wrestling for the Duke University Blue Devils. Fracturing his wrist, he never took the ability to perform simple tasks for granted again. After medical school at Ross University and surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Fiore completed the prestigious hand surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
“50 years ago it might have been acceptable to see a general doctor for hand issues, but not today. The anatomy and treatment of the hand is so complex. If hand surgery is not your focus, it is difficult to keep up with current treatments. I strive for using smaller incisions and minimally invasive techniques as patients have decreased pain and recovery time while providing a better cosmetic result.”
Dr. Fiore’s practice is devoted solely to surgery of the upper extremity with a focus on the hand and wrist. Conditions treated include, but are not limited to, carpal or cubital tunnel, trauma injuries, Dupuytren’s contracture, and arthritis. He is ‘in network’ for most private insurance and offers early office hour appointments for your convenience.
