With an extensive background of education and specialized training in cardiovascular care, Dr. Adnan Aslam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to patients seeking top-rate heart and vascular health care in the Northwest Houston area. Dr. Aslam studied under the direction of many of the nation’s most esteemed doctors while completing internship and residency programs at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and Tulane University School of Medicine. He continues to contribute to the advancement of medical education by authoring and co-authoring a number of scientific publications, presentations, and abstracts focused on cardiology.

Practicing at Northwest Houston Heart Center in Tomball, Dr. Aslam is committed to providing his patients with the highest quality heart and vascular care available, with a special focus placed on administering the latest diagnostics, state-of-the-art equipment, and treatment options with compassion and concern for each individual’s overall well-being. Dr. Aslam’s office is one of the only three centers in Houston area equipped with advanced Cardiac PET scanner for the precise diagnosis of Coronary Artery Disease. Dr. Aslam performs the latest Interventional Cardiology procedures for coronary, peripheral, and carotid interventions.

Aside from his practice, Dr. Aslam is often hand-selected to participate as an investigator in national cardiology trials, testing new therapies, and treatments. Dr. Aslam plays an active role for the advancement of health care delivery in the Northwest Houston area and is elected by his peers to the Chief of staff elect position for the Tomball Regional Medical center. Dr. Aslam is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of internal medicine, adult cardiology, and interventional cardiology. He is also certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. In addition, he is distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
