After graduating with honors from The University of Texas at Austin she received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Simotas was born to Greek immigrant parents who inspired their children to excel academically and reach their goals through education and hard work. Her sisters are Helen Simotas, high profile criminal defense attorney; Dr. Sofia Simotas, clinical psychologist, editor and writer; and Anna Saulsberry, entrepreneur and inventor. The “Nick Simotas Scholarship for Academic Achievement” was created in honor of their father and funds multiple scholarships annually. Dr. Simotas is also a generous donor to organizations that bring awareness to women’s issues and support children with special needs.

Dr. Simotas is married to Dr. Aris Papasakellariou, a world-renowned expert in the specification of advanced telecommunication systems and primary inventor in over one hundred patents. “It is my goal that our patients, our guests, have little to no anxiety while they are under our care. We utilize advanced technology such as the 3D CT scan for planning and placement of implants,” says Dr. Young.  “For those who are a little more apprehensive about visiting a dentist, we have sedation dentistry available.”

A graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch, Dr. Young focuses on cosmetic and implant dentistry while offering the full spectrum of dental services including teeth whitening, implant supported prosthesis, and full smile makeovers. Dr Young has completed all core courses at LVI for Advanced Dental Studies.  In addition, Dr Young holds fellowship status with the American Dental Implant Association.
