Thea M. Fabio, Board Certified – Family Law

Attorney Thea Marie Fabio is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and  is devoted exclusively to the practice and litigation of family law matters. With 32 years of legal experience, she  understands that divorce proceedings can be heart wrenching and painful for  clients which is why she strives to help ease the stress that occurs during this trying time. Her philosophy is to listen carefully before recommending the best course of action. She is sensitive to the needs of children, offering  common sense advice, helpful information and resources on family-related issues for parents, spouses, children, unmarried couples and same-sex partners.

Ms. Fabio has practiced with civil attorney Richard L. Merrill for more than 20 years, and combined they have more than 68 years of experience. This is the seventh year that she was named an H Texas magazine Top Family Lawyer. She is also a member of the Better Business Bureau, College of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism, as well as a life member of the Girl Scouts. She is actively involved in community issues and consistently volunteers with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program. Ms. Fabio is AV rated (highest rating) by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
