Founded in 1998, Osha Liang is an intellectual property law firm with a global presence. John Osha, Managing Partner: John’s practice involves acquiring and enforcing intellectual property on a worldwide basis. John holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.

T. Chyau Liang, Partner: Chyau’s practice is focused on patent prosecution and litigation in the fields of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Chyau received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Brown University and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.

Jeff Bergman, Partner: Jeff‘s practice encompasses intellectual property law in the fields of chemistry, materials science and mechanical engineering, emphasizing oilfield technologies and nanotechnology. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the College of William and Mary, a master’s degree in chemistry from Cornell University, and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.

Brian Wunder, Of Counsel: Fluent in French and German, Brian handles litigation for Osha Liang’s multinational client base. Brian received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and his J.D. from Baylor University, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Lee Huddleston, Associate: Lee’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, IP counseling, trademark, and litigation work in the mechanical arts emphasizing oilfield technology.  Lee received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University, and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.

Carlyn Burton, Associate: Carlyn’s experience includes counseling, patent prosecution and litigation in the chemical and mechanical arts.  Carlyn received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry from Emory University, and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.
