Michael W. McCoy, a managing partner of the Firm, specializes in insurance coverage, general insurance defense and professional liability defense. He represents insurers, brokers, third-party claims administrators, and other professionals in coverage-related matters, liability actions, and extra-contractual litigation. He also defends companies and partnerships in numerous personal injury and commercial cases, from premises liability to sophisticated machinery products.

A graduate of Baylor Law School in 1979, McCoy was an Associate Editor of the Baylor Law Review. He is a member of the Texas and Houston Bar Associations, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and Life Member of the Texas Bar Foundation and Houston Bar Foundation. He is licensed in the state of Texas, all four federal district courts in Texas, Fifth and Eleventh U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal and AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory.
