For more than a decade, Lacy LaFour has practiced solely in the area of family law. Prior to opening her own office, Ms. LaFour worked in a family law firm that marketed exclusively to high net-worth clientele. When asked why she decided to go out on her own, she said, “I knew that I could take what I had learned from years of working on some of the most complicated property and child related issues that family lawyers face and provide that experience to a broader range of clients, and do so in a much more personalized manner.”
Ms. LaFour combines her psychology and legal backgrounds into a client centered law practice that focuses on honest advice and efficient case management, where clients benefit from her personable approach. “I get people. I have been through difficult times, I know what a crisis feels like, and I know how to help clients maneuver through the process emotionally.”
Ms. LaFour is certified in collaborative law and is a certified mediator. She is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and, in addition to being a member of several bar organizations, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Law Section of the Houston Bar Association.
