PAIGE KINKADE is the CEO and co-founder of MedCare Pediatric Group, LP, which provides comprehensive and highly technical pediatric health care for children with complex medical needs and disabilities. Her mission is to enhance the lives of children diagnosed with such conditions as autism, down syndrome and cerebral palsy, among others. She serves on the Political Action Committee at Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice, and the Student Life Committee at Houston Christian High School. Paige founded a charity 10 years ago to give Christmas trees to children with special needs; every year, hundreds of kids with medical or developmental issues attend the annual MedCare Trees for Tots event to pick out their tree, enjoy fun activities and take photos with Santa. Paige is dedicated to partnering with other local charities, including Project Joy and Hope, Miss Amazing Texas Pageant (a special pageant for girls with developmental and medical needs), Know Autism and Silly Chili Annual Event in Sugarland (which raises funds for local fire rescue). She also partners with Light and Salt, a Christian charity with an outreach mission in Harris County to provide essential services to children with special needs who have recently immigrated to America. Paige believes it’s our duty to help those who cannot help themselves.
